Guide and Packers School

Our Guide and Packers School is designed for individuals who seek a career in the great outdoors.
Imagine getting up in the morning and going to work in a beautiful wilderness setting.  Your office is the vast expanse of mountain meadows surrounded by spruce, fir and aspen groves.  Elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, bear, coyotes, duck, geese, and grouse roam the land.

Welcome to life as a wilderness adventure guide.
Demand for skilled workers in the outdoor adventure field is at an all-time high.  Western outfitters are looking for trained workers to fill a multitude of positions at western lodges, ranches and hunting and fishing outfitting companies in many western states.

Because of this demand for skilled hands, we started a school to train folks for success.  Appalachia Spring Ranch Guide and Packer School was borne out of a love for the great outdoors.  Our unique training program was developed from over 30 years of teaching experience.  We have over 9 years of first-hand experience training folks for our own outfitting business and for several of the best western outfitters in the country.
